Ghaati: Allu Arjun To Anushka Shetty, Let’s Do Two-Part Crossover Between Pushpa, Sheelavathi

With Queen Anushka Shetty’s much-anticipated film Ghaati hitting screens tomorrow, the actress may not be attending public promotions, but she’s certainly making her presence felt. Known for her selective yet powerful roles, Anushka has been actively engaging in virtual promotions — and today, a surprise phone call with Icon Star Allu Arjun turned heads.
The duo, who share a warm history through films like Vedham and Rudhramadevi, caught up in a candid and nostalgic conversation. Anushka shared, “Whenever I’m about to release a film that pushes my boundaries, somehow Bunny ends up being part of that journey — either on screen or through a supportive call like this.”
She opened up about her role in Ghaati, particularly her character Sheelavathi, saying, “It’s not just action — it’s layered and emotional. Krish has really pushed me out of my comfort zone with this one.”
Allu Arjun, visibly impressed, didn’t hold back on his praise. “Anushka, you’re in a league of your own. No other actress today takes on action roles the way you do,” he remarked.
But it wasn’t all reminiscing — the call took an unexpected turn when Allu Arjun suggested a creative idea: “Wouldn’t it be wild to have a crossover between Pushpa and Sheelavathi?”
He added, “Let’s make it into two parts, with Sukumar and Krish directing one part each.”
When Anushka reacted by saying she’d first need to gain a pan-India image for such a crossover, Bunny immediately responded, “You’re already a pan-India star — Baahubali proved that long ago.”
Wrapping up the conversation, Allu Arjun promised to watch Ghaati with his family and extended his heartfelt wishes to Anushka and the entire team.
As Ghaati gears up for release, this spontaneous exchange between two stars has sparked excitement.
