From serving tea to becoming a pan-India star: Yash’s inspiring journey

Long before he became one of India’s biggest pan India stars, Yash was a young man from Karnataka chasing his dream of becoming an actor. The son of a BMTC bus driver, he moved to Bengaluru with limited financial support and began his journey in theatre, where he worked backstage and even served tea for around ₹50 a day while learning the craft of acting.

After gaining experience in theatre and television, Yash entered Kannada cinema and earned recognition with films such as Moggina Manasu and Googly. However, it was KGF: Chapter 1 (2018) that transformed his career, breaking language barriers and making him a nationwide sensation. KGF: Chapter 2 further cemented his status as a major Indian film star.

Yash is now entering one of the most ambitious phases of his career. He is starring in and co-producing Toxic, while also playing Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s two part Ramayana. His journey from humble beginnings to extraordinary success continues to inspire aspiring actors across the country.
