Dil Raju’s SVC to Distribute “L2E: Empuraan” in Telugu

The iconic combination of Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran is arriving with their much-anticipated film, L2E: Empuraan, which is gearing up for a worldwide release on March 27, 2025. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, L2E: Empuraan is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer. It is the second installment of the trilogy. This most-awaited political action thriller will be released in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.

One of the top distributors in Telugu cinema, Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC) , will distribute the film in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Spearheaded by Dil Raju, SVC ensures a massive release for L2E: Empuraan in both states.

Along with Mohanlal, the film features an ensemble star cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Fazil, Sachin Khedekar, Nyla Usha, Giju John, Nandhu, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Manikuttan, Aneesh G. Menon, Sshivada, Alexx O’Nell, Eriq Ebouaney, Mikhail Novikov, and Karthikeya Dev in pivotal roles. English actor Jerome Flynn of Game of Thrones fame also makes his Indian cinema debut by playing a crucial role in L2E: Empuraan.

The filming of L2E: Empuraan began in a grand way on October 5, 2023, in Faridabad. The shoot continued in various other places, including Shimla, Leh, the United Kingdom, the United States, Chennai, Gujarat, Hyderabad, the United Arab Emirates, Mumbai, and Kerala.

The makers kickstarted promotions of L2E: Empuraan with a grand teaser launch event held in Kochi on January 26. On February 9, the makers started releasing character-introduction posters. This campaign ended with Mohanlal’s powerful first-look poster launch on February 26.
