Credit for ‘Eesha’ Blockbuster Success Goes to the Audience : Vamshi Nandipati
Producers Bunny Vas and Vamshi Nandipati, who recently delivered blockbuster hits such as Little Hearts and Raju Weds Rambayi, have now presented a horror thriller titled Eesha under the banners of Nandipati Entertainments and Bunny Vas Works. Released during the Christmas season, the film has emerged as a Christmas winner.
Eesha stars Akhil Raj and Trigun in the lead roles, with Hebbah Patel as the female lead. The cast also includes Siri Hanmanthu, Babloo, and Prithviraj in prominent roles. The film has been directed by Srinivas Manne and produced by Hem Venkateswara Rao under HVR Productions, with senior producer K.L. Damodar Prasad presenting it.
As the film continues to perform strongly at the box office, the team organized a “Blockbuster Meet” to celebrate its success.
Speaking on the occasion, producer Bunny Vas said, “Box office revenue is the benchmark for a film’s success. On its first day, Eesha grossed ₹2.2 crore across the two Telugu states, which is a record for small-budget films. This is a very low-budget production, yet the second-day collections have not dropped. The film is expected to generate strong collections throughout the holiday season. If anyone had doubts about the film, those doubts will be cleared by looking at the box office numbers. Eesha has emerged as a box office winner and can rightfully be called a blockbuster. It is heartening to see audiences coming to theatres and encouraging the film.”
Producer Hem Venkateswara Rao said, “It is truly gratifying to see the film achieve such a great level of success. All the artists in this project worked with immense dedication, and they have reaped a well-deserved victory. Bunny Vas, Vamshi Nandipati, and Damodar Prasad were instrumental in this success.”
Actor Trigun remarked, “This weekend has been a good one for Telugu cinema and for Eesha. In recent times, none of my films have seen collections like this. Director Srinivas, who gave me my first break, has now given me another success with Eesha. Thanks to strong word-of-mouth, the film’s collections are increasing each day. I hope Bunny Vas and Vamshi Nandipati continue to support small films like this.”
Producer Vamshi Nandipati stated, “The chief guests for this celebration are the audience themselves. They came to the theatres and gave the film its success. I am deeply indebted to them. This is not just a horror film—its climactic sequences make everyone reflect deeply. Eesha is a people’s blockbuster. The credit for this success belongs entirely to the audience.”
Producer K.L. Damodar Prasad added, “People are reselling tickets for Eesha at higher prices, a phenomenon I haven’t heard about in years. The film proves once again that content is king. This is a victory for Telugu audiences.”
