Blockbuster maker Boyapati Sreenu is presently directing God of Masses Nandamuri Balakrishna for their fourth collaboration, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam. This spiritual-action extravaganza, a sequel to the roaring success Akhanda, is set to take the cinematic experience to the next level with its powerful storytelling, high-octane sequences, and intense drama. Backed by 14 Reels Plus banner, the project is being bankrolled by dynamic producers Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta. Adding to its grandeur, the film is proudly presented by M Tejaswini Nandamuri.

The next shooting schedule of the film is set to take place in Georgia. Currently, director Boyapati Sreenu is on a recce, scouting for uncharted and picturesque locations across the country where key sequences featuring Balakrishna and other prominent cast members will be filmed.
