“ஃ” (Akku) is set to release in theaters across Tamil Nadu and Kerala on October 13th, 2023. Written and directed by Stalin V and produced by Ambigapathi Movie Makers , “ஃ” (Akku) is a crime thriller and horror film based on the concept of Karma, as its title caption suggests: “KARMA NEVER FORGIVES.” 

The film stars Prajin, Paruthiveeran Venkatesh, and Gayathri Rema in lead roles, with KPY Sarath, KPY Vinoth, Ramanathan, Naira Nihar, and Dayalan playing other important roles. Director Stalin V himself takes on the antagonist role in this film, and the theatrical rights have been acquired by Uthraa Productions.

Director Stalin V is a debutant filmmaker, and notably, he has no prior experience as an assistant director; he transitioned from the banking and financial sector to the film industry. Stalin V states that he created “ஃ” (Akku) to convey the importance of Karma and how it plays a vital role in everyone’s life.

“It is a crime thriller and horror film, and it has taken shape very well. ‘ஃ’ (Akku) is something that everyone will enjoy and contemplate,” he said. 

Deva Surya K is making his debut as a cinematographer with this film, and Sathish Selvam, who previously composed music for the film “Dhayam,” has scored the music for “ஃ” (Akku).

The film was primarily shot in Chennai City, OMR, and ECR, with a small portion filmed in Theni. Almost 90% of the shooting took place at night.
