Akkineni Multi-Starrer Put on Hold Over Script Concerns

The much awaited multistarrer featuring Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Akhil Akkineni has reportedly been put on hold. The project, which was planned as a family entertainer with Kalyan Krishna Kurasala as director, was expected to be jointly produced by Annapurna Studios and a leading production house.

According to industry sources, the film failed to move forward as the final version of the script did not receive unanimous approval. It is learnt that Naga Chaitanya and Akhil were not fully convinced with the story, screenplay, and the way their characters were shaped. Instead of rushing into production, the Akkineni family is said to have decided to wait for a stronger script.

While there has been no official announcement, the project is currently believed to be shelved. Meanwhile, all three actors are focusing on their individual commitments, with Naga Chaitanya busy with upcoming projects, Akhil evaluating new scripts, and Nagarjuna reportedly working for his landmark 100th film.
