Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Timeless Classic Aditya 369 considered as one of the finest Time-travel based science fiction films in Indian Cinema. Directed by the genius filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, it was produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner of Sridevi Movies and presented by the legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam.

It’s a well known fact that, the film received both critical acclaim and audience appreciation across the world upon its release back then. Taking back to the memory capsule of the 90’s classics, this iconic movie is now set for a grand re-release on April 11th in theatres.

On this occasion, producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad of Sridevi Movies said, “The iconic film has been digitally remastered in 4K resolution, with its sound upgraded to 5.1 quality. The Prasad’s digital team worked tirelessly for six months to deliver an exceptional output to witness in theaters. Originally released 34 years ago, the film continues to enjoy immense popularity among audiences. As soon as the re-release was announced, fans of all-ages across the world were excited and awaited the official re-release date. At the time of its release, Aditya 369 was an advanced and visionary film, and it still connects with today’s audience. I will always remain indebted to SP Balasubrahmanyam garu, who supported me immensely in producing this film. My heartfelt gratitude also goes to Nandamuri Balakrishna garu and Singeetam Srinivasa Rao garu, who were thrilled when they heard about the re-release of this legendary project.

Back then, even though I was a new producer, I will always be grateful to Balayya Babu garu for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to make this film. Whether as Sri Krishnadevaraya or Krishna Kumar, he delivered an extraordinary performance in both roles. He looked incredibly majestic on screen, and his royal demeanor was evident in every frame. This film is a testament to the brilliance of Singeetam Srinivasa Rao garu as both a storyteller and a director. It was not just about coming up with such a unique concept, but he also made the impossible possible on the Telugu screen, creating a cinematic masterpiece that remains unparalleled. I was extremely excited when the film was first released, and now, during its re-release, I feel just as thrilled. Ilaiyaraaja garu’s music, Jandhyala garu’s dialogues, and the remarkable cinematography by three legendary cinematographers (read PC Sreeram, VSR Swamy, and Kabir Lal) have made this film unforgettable.”

Sivalenka Krishna Prasad further added, “So far, I have produced 15 films. No matter how many hit movies I have made, Aditya 369 is the one that brought me personal and professional recognition. This film made our production house, Sridevi Movies, a name to be remembered in the history of Telugu cinema. With back-to-back successes, Balayya Babu has been thrilling the current generation of audiences, and Aditya 369 will be a sweet continuation of that trend. We strongly believe that this movie will once again be embraced by audiences and repeat Balayya Babu’s hit history.”

The producer also mentioned, “Bollywood’s top villain Amrish Puri and famous actor Tinnu Anand were among the main attractions of this film. No matter how many times you watch Aditya 369 on TV or YouTube, the experience of watching it on the big screen is something else. It is going to be pure magic. The new digital enhancements have made our classic even more spectacular. We are set to re-release the film worldwide on a grand scale on April 11th. This is not just a special treat for Nandamuri fans but a wonderful gift for all Telugu audiences.”
