Renowned producer Dil Raju has recently been appointed as the Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) by the Government of Telangana. This morning, he officially assumed the position by performing a Puja in his chamber.

On the occasion, Dil Raju expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy for appointing him in this honorable responsibility.

Speaking to the media, he said, “It is CM Revanth Reddy garu’s idea to bridge the gap between the film industry and the government and to restore the glory of TFDC. As per his vision, I will strive to develop TFDC and enhance the growth of cinema in Telangana.”

He further stated, “After the bifurcation of the state, there has been a pressing need to grow Telangana cinema and promote Telangana’s culture in Telugu cinema. Over the years, Hyderabad has developed as a hub for Telugu cinema after the industry moved from Chennai. Now, the goal is to make Hyderabad the hub for Indian cinema and also international cinema.”

“There are issues concerning distributors and producers in Telangana. I will work to act as a bridge between them and the government to resolve these issues,” Dil Raju added.

On the professional front, Dil Raju is gearing up for the release of his prestigious project, Game Changer. Starring Global Star Ram Charan in the lead, this political action drama is directed by Shankar and is set for a grand worldwide release on January 10, 2025, in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
