A Masterpiece will take Telugu cinema’s glory to the next level: Movie Team at On-Location Press Meet

After unique films like Shukra and Matarani Mounamidi, director Poorvaj is now making his latest film A Masterpiece. Starring Arvind Krishna, Jyothi Poorvaaj, Manish Gilada, and Ashu Reddy in lead roles, the film is produced by Srikanth Kandregula, Manish Gilada, and Prajay Kamat. A Masterpiece promises to bring a new-age superhero cinematic experience to Telugu audiences. The film’s shoot has now entered its final phase with the climax sequence being filmed. The makers invited media to witness the shooting and addressed them in a press meet.

Director Poorvaaj said, Thanks to the media friends for attending A Masterpiece’s shoot coverage. This project started because of Srikanth Kandregula garu, and later Manish Gilada joined, taking the film to another level. He is also playing the supervillain role. Everyone knows Arvind Krishna’s career; in this film, he will be seen as a superhero. I have drawn inspiration from our epics. The story connects different eras – in Treta Yuga, Sumantara, the minister of King Dasharatha, receives a boon during Lord Rama’s exile, which becomes the base for the superhero character. The supervillain, inspired by Hiranyakashipu, comes from Dwapara Yuga. These mythological elements are connected to Kaliyuga in a fresh narrative. Arvind Krishna has given an outstanding performance as the superhero, while Manish Gilada impresses as the supervillain. My wife Jyothi Poorvaj has done really well in a unique role. Currently, we are filming the climax. Since Lord Shiva’s element is part of the story, we are planning to release the film for Maha Shivaratri.

Hero Arvind Krishna said, I sincerely thank our director Poorvaj garu for giving me this opportunity. Due to unavoidable reasons, the film’s shoot was delayed. I had a few injuries and the schedule had to be postponed. Still, Poorvaj garu patiently waited. Many of our team members faced struggles, but like they say – before achieving something great, challenges are common. A Master Piece will raise Telugu cinema’s reputation. Manish Gilada may be the supervillain in the film, but on the production side, he stood like a superhero. Producer & Supervillain Manish Gilada said, Thanks to all the media who came for our shoot coverage. We wanted to show you how big our making scale is. It’s been 14 months since we released our teaser, and now the climax shoot is happening. Due to some delays, things got pushed, but in a day or two the shoot will be fully completed. We are filming a song for the climax. Our producers are ensuring not just grand shooting, but also high-quality post-production. Heroine Jyothi Poorvaj said, I came on board this project two years ago, and later, Poorvaj became my life partner. A Masterpiece has a superb script. My role has many different shades that will surprise audiences. It’s one of the most satisfying characters of my career. By blending mythology with the superhero genre, Purvaz is crafting a grand film. I won’t name them, but I believe A Masterpiece will stand alongside some of Telugu cinema’s greatest works. Arvind Krishna perfectly fits the superhero image. I’ve worked with him before too. Manish Gilada’s supervillain act is impressive. Our producers have mounted the film on a huge scale. I’m sure audiences will love it.

Producer Srikanth Kandregula said, After the Malayalam film Minnal Murali, I felt we should also attempt a superhero film in Telugu, which led to A Masterpiece. Poorvaj garu is the driving force of this project, while Merge XR and Manish Gilada gave it more strength. I’ve been more of a sleeping partner. Just by looking at this set, you can understand how big the making is. We are using technology that even Hollywood hasn’t experimented with yet.
