Skoda Auto India Expands Slavia Monte Carlo Colour Palette with Limited Dual-Tone Editions

Skoda Auto India has expanded its Slavia lineup by introducing two exclusive dual-tone colour options Shimla Green and Steel Grey for the Slavia Monte Carlo. Strictly limited to 200 units, these special editions combine the sedan’s dynamic design and driving performance with the brand’s rich Rallye Monte Carlo heritage, delivering an enhanced visual presence for customers seeking greater exclusivity.

Design and Performance Specifications:
Beyond the new paint schemes, the Slavia Monte Carlo retains its signature blacked-out exterior styling elements, premium black and red interior theme, and feature-rich cabin. Customers can choose between two proven TSI engine and automatic transmission combinations:

1.0-litre TSI: A three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic, generating 85 kW (115 PS) and 178 Nm of torque.

1.5-litre TSI: A four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 7-speed DSG, producing 110 kW (150 PS) and 250 Nm of torque. This engine also features Active Cylinder Technology which deactivates two cylinders under light loads to conserve fuel  alongside Plasma-Coated Cylinder Liners for optimal thermal efficiency.

The Monte Carlo trim pays homage to Skoda’s storied involvement with the Rallye Monte Carlo since 1912. Highlighting the introduction of these exclusive variants, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Skoda Auto India, noted that the Slavia Monte Carlo has resonated strongly with buyers due to its distinctive design and motorsport lineage. This launch follows the brand’s recent milestone where its complete fleet including the Slavia Monte Carlo, Kushaq Monte Carlo, Kylaq, Kodiaq, and the limited-volume Octavia RS set an India and Asia Book of Records for the fastest multi-car relay by a single manufacturer at the CoASTT track in Coimbatore.
