Google Emerges as India’s Most Attractive Employer Brand, Followed by Tata Group and Amazon
According to the Randstad Employer Brand Research (REBR) 2026 report, Google has emerged as the most attractive employer brand in India. The tech giant is closely followed by the Tata Group and Amazon in the second and third positions, respectively. The top-10 list of highly sought-after employers also features prominent industry leaders, including Samsung India, Infosys, Reliance Industries, ITC Group, Hindustan Unilever, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Dell Technologies.
The comprehensive report, which is based on the opinions of over 1.75 lakh individuals across 34 countries, including approximately 3,500 employees in India, brought another crucial trend to light. The survey revealed that 46 percent of employees in India are planning to change their jobs within the next six months, while 32 percent have already switched employers in the past six months. When selecting a company, employees are placing the highest priority on work-life balance, equal opportunities, career growth, competitive salaries, and the overall reputation of the organization.
Interestingly, the report highlighted a different mindset among employees in the digital sector. These professionals tend to prioritize competitive remuneration over work-life balance and do not hesitate to switch jobs if they do not see clear career progression. Commenting on the findings, Randstad India MD Narayan Iyer stated that to attract and retain top talent for the long term, organizations must adapt their talent management strategies to align with evolving employee expectations. He emphasized that companies capable of providing growth opportunities, a fair work culture, good compensation, and a clear career path will remain at the forefront of the industry.
