Gamepoint raises 7 Crore in Pre-Series A round to expand its multi-sport centre network
Gamepoint, a technology-enabled sports startup focused on making sports a part of everyday life, has raised INR 7 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round. The round was led by Dr Raj P Narayanam, Founder, Zaggle, and Mr Aditya Vuchi, General Partner, VCMint, with participation from Mr Praveen Raju, Founder of Suchitra Academy and others.
Founded with the objective of providing convenient access to learn and play sports, Gamepoint operates professionally managed multi-sport centres for people of all age groups. Gamepoint centres provide structured coaching programmes for children, flexible membership and pay-and-play options for adults, and comprehensive sports event management solutions for corporates, delivered in a safe and hygienic environment.
The capital raised will be used to expand Gamepoint’s multi-sport centre network and strengthen its technology and operational capabilities. Over the next five years, the company plans to scale to 300+ centres across metros as well as Tier I and Tier II cities, enabling 1 crore people to play sports in India.
Speaking on the fundraise, Aditya Reddy and Siddharth Reddy, Founders, Gamepoint, said in a joint statement, “This funding marks an important milestone in our mission to transform India from a sports-loving nation into a sports-playing nation. Over the years, we have consistently delivered high-quality sports services to people of all ages across Hyderabad through conveniently located centres. The capital raised will enable us to strengthen our presence in the city while accelerating expansion into other markets.”
Dr Raj P Narayanam, Founder, Zaggle, said, “Gamepoint has built a strong operating model, earning the trust of customers and partners across its markets. I strongly believe in the positive impact sports can have in strengthening communities, and the team has demonstrated a clear understanding of what it takes to build and grow high quality sport centres in India. We see Gamepoint as well placed to expand its footprint across the country”
Mr Aditya Vuchi, General Partner, VCMint, added, “What stood out for us was Gamepoint’s ability to scale its multi-sport centre model in a disciplined and consistent manner. As a tennis player myself, I deeply believe in the power of sports to transform individuals and contribute to a healthier way of life. With growing interest in fitness and sports across all sections of society, Gamepoint is well positioned to meet this demand, and we are pleased to support the founders in the next phase of growth.”
The growing importance of sports in India has been reinforced through sustained policy focus, including initiatives such as the Khelo India Mission highlighted in the recent Union Budget 2026. As the country prepares to host the Commonwealth Games 2030 and bids for the Olympic Games 2036, the coming decade is expected to see a significant increase in investment, infrastructure development, and participation across sports.
