Burger Singh Returns to Hyderabad with Ambitious Expansion Plans
Burger Singh, recognized as India’s largest made-in-India burger chain, has officially announced its re-entry into the Hyderabad market. This launch marks a significant strategic milestone in the brand’s broader expansion efforts across Southern India. The company has laid out ambitious growth targets for the region, planning to establish 30 new outlets within Hyderabad and scale to a total of 60 outlets across the entire state of Telangana.
Investment and Franchise Growth:
The brand’s expansion is bolstered by its recent successful Series B funding round, which secured 82 Crore. These funds are being strategically invested to develop a more structured and scalable franchise-first restaurant growth platform. As Burger Singh accelerates its development, it is actively recruiting local franchise partners throughout Hyderabad and the wider South India region, providing aspiring entrepreneurs with the opportunity to join a fast-growing homegrown QSR success story. With this latest opening, the brand’s nationwide footprint has expanded to over 200 outlets across more than 100 Indian cities.
Commitment to Local Entrepreneurship:
Nitin Rana, Co-founder of Burger Singh, highlighted the brand’s prior connection to Hyderabad, noting that the company operated two thriving outlets in the city before the pandemic necessitated a pause. Discussing the brand’s return, Rana stated, “Today we’re un-pausing it, and not with one cautious outlet. Thirty across Hyderabad, sixty across Telangana, every one of them run by a local entrepreneur who wants a proudly Indian brand back on their street.” The new outlet, located in Hi-tech City, will serve the brand’s signature menu, which is crafted for the Indian palate by incorporating distinct Indian flavors into a Western format. Customers can look forward to fan favorites such as the Nikku Singh, Churmur Pandey, Udta Punjab 2.0, and Chunky Paneer Pandey.
