Army Public School Wins the Hyderabad Edition of TCS InQuizitive 2026
Army Public School, Bolarum, has claimed the top spot at the Hyderabad edition of TCS InQuizitive 2026, the flagship inter-school quiz program presented by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Representing their school, students Kalepu Yashvardhan and Anirudh Rengarajan navigated through a day of intense competition to emerge as winners. By demonstrating a superior combination of knowledge, teamwork, and analytical thinking, they have successfully secured their place in the upcoming national semi-finals.
Participation and Dignitaries:
The Hyderabad edition saw robust participation, with 249 teams representing 28 schools across the region. The event was graced by prominent TCS leadership, including V Rajanna, President – Communications, Media, Technology, and Services, and Challa Nag, Delivery Centre Head, TCS Hyderabad. Their presence underscored the importance of fostering young talent and academic excellence within the region.
Innovation Through AI:
A major highlight of the 2026 edition is the introduction of real-time AI-powered analytics. This technology allowed participants to view detailed insights into their performance after every round, providing them with immediate feedback and enabling them to quickly identify areas for academic improvement.

Competition Scope and Themes:
TCS InQuizitive is open to students from Grades 8 to 12 and is designed to balance rigorous learning with high-energy excitement. The quiz format covers a wide spectrum of subjects, including:
Diverse Topics: Education, entertainment, sports, business trends, advertising, and social media.
STEM Focus: The program places a significant emphasis on emerging domains such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, automation, biometrics, and robotics.
Now in its 28th year, the competition stands as one of India’s most respected inter-school platforms, encouraging students to explore new ideas and develop a comprehensive understanding of the modern world. The 2026 edition is currently spanning twelve cities including Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Kochi, Kolkata, and Mumbai culminating in a National Finale where the nation’s brightest young quizzers will compete for the title of TCS InQuizitive National Champions 2026.
