Amazon Expands Ultra-Fast Delivery Service ‘Amazon Now’ to Over 120 Cities Across India

Amazon has announced the rapid expansion of Amazon Now, its ultra-fast delivery service, to more than 120 cities across India, successfully doubling its reach in just two weeks. Customers in cities such as Amritsar, Abohar, Jalandhar, Ambala, Mangalore, Manipal, Vizag, Kochi, Changanassery, Bhubaneswar, and Karwar can now receive deliveries in minutes. The service offers a wide selection of tens of thousands of daily essentials including groceries (fresh fruits, vegetables, and frozen food), personal care items, fashion, beauty products, small appliances, and home and kitchen essentials. These orders are efficiently fulfilled through a network of nearly 800 micro-fulfillment and urban fulfillment centers.

Amazon Now stands as the fastest-growing ecommerce business unit in Amazon India’s history, with order volumes doubling every quarter. Having crossed $1 billion in annualized gross sales in India over the preceding three-month period, Amazon is actively on track to build one of the country’s largest delivery-in-minutes networks by scaling the service to over 300 cities.
