Allied Blenders and Distillers’ Rangapur Facility Honored with Best Factory Award

MUMBAI :  Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD), India’s largest domestic spirits company by volume, has achieved a significant milestone as its Rangapur facility in Telangana was conferred the Best Factory/Management Award. The prestigious honor was presented by the Labour, Employment, Training & Factories Department (LET&F) of the Government of Telangana during the International Labour Day celebrations on May 1, 2026.

A Hub of Integrated Excellence:
Located in the Wanaparthy district, the Rangapur facility is a cornerstone of ABD’s production strategy. The site is a fully integrated manufacturing hub featuring:

ENA Distillery: Producing high-quality Extra Neutral Alcohol.

IMFL Bottling Unit: Dedicated to the company’s extensive spirits portfolio.

PET Bottle Plant: Recently commissioned in September 2025 to streamline packaging logistics.

The facility is currently undergoing further evolution with the construction of a new malt distillery. This strategic expansion is aimed at strengthening ABD’s presence in the premium segment and establishing homegrown single malt production capabilities.

Beyond technical prowess, the award highlights ABD’s commitment to social and economic progress. The facility employs approximately 1,500 personnel, boasting an industry-leading 50% female workforce.
