Thiraiyin Marupakkam to Collide with Leo on October 20th

The upcoming Tamil film Thiraiyin Marupakkam is set to release on October 20th, 2023, the same day as the highly anticipated Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo.

Thiraiyin Marupakkam is a black comedy film written and directed by Nitin Samson, who also stars in the film alongside Mohammed Ghouse, Manigandan, Hema Genelia, Sree Risha, Jyothi, Yazar, and Sathyaannadurai.

The film tells the story of Sathyamoorthy, a Tamil cinema fan who is duped by a director named Senthil into investing in a film. Sathyamoorthy sells his land and mortgages his house to finance the film, but Senthil fails miserably to deliver.

With his family's future at stake, Sathyamoorthy takes over the film and reshoots it with the help of the hero of the film and assistant directors. The film is a perfect mix of black comedy and harsh reality, and it explores the dark side of the Tamil film industry.

Despite releasing on the same day as a big-budget film like Leo, the makers of Thiraiyin Marupakkam are confident that their film will find an audience. The film has been praised by critics for its unique story and its performances.
