The Malaysian Consul-General explores business opportunities in Sri City

Mr. Saravana Kumar Kumaravasagam, Consul-General of Malaysia in Chennai, accompanied by Mr. Wan Ahmad Tarmizi Wan Idris, Trade Commissioner, visited Sri City on Wednesday with the objective of gaining firsthand knowledge about the industrial park, assessing its business potential, and exploring investment opportunities. Mr. Satish Kamat, President (Operations), Sri City, and Mr. R. Shivshankar, Senior Vice President (Marketing), extended a warm welcome. Highlighting the unique features that set Sri City apart as a prominent business hub, Mr. Shivshankar showcased the dynamic and promising business ambience of the industrial park.

Commenting on the visit, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City, expressed the significance of the Consul General’s visit, highlighting its importance for the development of the mega industrial park. “Interaction of this kind will further enhance the business ties between the two countries, and we are confident that this visit will pave the way for investments from Malaysia.”

Following the briefing session, they had a detailed tour of the industrial park to get firsthand insights into the state-of-the-art infrastructure and the brisk pace of industrial development.
