Sri City to Launch Entrepreneurship Training for PwBD Youth
Sri City will soon roll out a pioneering Entrepreneurship Training Programme for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) youth, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive growth and social equity.
At the MSME Growth Summit 2026 held in Vijayawada on Monday, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director of Sri City, signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation in the august presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu.
During his address, the Hon’ble Chief Minister appreciated Sri City for its inclusive initiative to train PwBD youth in entrepreneurship. He observed that Sri City has risen to become one of the country’s foremost industrial parks, a success attributed to the strategies pursued by its management and their relentless commitment to hard work. He further noted that the experience at Sri City clearly demonstrates the need for more private enterprises to step forward and take responsibility in strengthening the industrial sector.
Commenting on the programme, Dr. Sannareddy reaffirmed Sri City’s commitment to inclusive growth and said, “Sri City has always stood for inclusive growth. By equipping PwBD youth with entrepreneurial skills, we create pathways to self‑reliance while reinforcing our commitment to social equity and industrial progress.”
The initiative aims to equip PwBD youth with skills, mentorship, and incubation support, enabling them to become self-reliant entrepreneurs. Aligned with the State’s One Family – One Entrepreneur vision, the programme will contribute to the goal of creating 1 crore entrepreneurs across Andhra Pradesh. Leveraging Sri City’s vibrant ecosystem of 250+ global and domestic companies from 31 countries, the initiative will provide PwBD youth with exposure to diverse industries and hands-on enterprise-building opportunities.
