Hyundai Motor India and Jio-bp Partner to Expand EV Charging Network Across India

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced a strategic partnership with Jio-bp the operating brand of Reliance BP Mobility Limited, a joint venture between Reliance Industries and bp to integrate their respective electric vehicle charging networks. The collaboration aims to deliver a seamless public charging experience, expanding access to thousands of charging points and supporting long-distance EV travel across the country.

Network Integration and Expansion:
The partnership integrates over 7,000 Jio-bp pulse charging points across 300+ cities, expanding HMIL’s overall charging ecosystem from more than 30,000 points to over 37,000 charging points.

App Accessibility: EV customers can access the combined network directly through the myHyundai app.

Reciprocal Availability: All HMIL-owned DC fast chargers including 183 operational stations and future installations—will also be integrated into the Jio-bp pulse charge pro app. HMIL further plans to expand its proprietary DC fast-charging network from 183 stations to 600 stations by 2030.
