NEW DELHI — Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has officially launched the all-new Passion+ Disc variant in India. Priced at Rs 84,128 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the commuter motorcycle arrives with refreshed styling, segment-first tech additions, and a significant safety upgrade via a front disc brake setup.

The motorcycle is engineered to handle everyday urban commutes by providing a calculated balance of fuel economy, practical ergonomics, and updated connectivity features tailored for the modern consumer.

The most notable mechanical upgrade for this variant is the introduction of a Front Disc Brake, which delivers much sharper, highly responsive, and predictable stopping power across varying road surfaces.

The Passion+ Disc continues to leverage Hero MotoCorp’s highly reliable, fuel-efficient 100cc BS-VI (OBD-2 Phase A compliant) engine. The engine produces 5.9 kW of power at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.05 Nm at 6000 rpm, delivering smooth, linear acceleration ideal for dense city traffic.

To lower operational costs for daily commuters, the powerplant is paired with Hero’s proprietary i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) technology. This setup automatically cuts the engine during brief stops and restarts seamlessly when the clutch is pulled, enabling the motorcycle to deliver an impressive, certified fuel efficiency of 71 kmpl.
