HDFC Securities Launches New Hybrid and Remote Work Framework to Boost Employee Flexibility
Hyderabad: HDFC Securities, a leading stockbroking firm in India, has announced progressive work arrangements designed to foster a flexible, diverse, and employee-centric environment. Aligning with recent announcements by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, these measures aim to boost productivity, support work-life balance, and adapt to the evolving external environment.
Effective June 1, 2026, all corporate and support functions will adopt a hybrid work model. This includes Operations, Information Technology, Finance, Human Resources, Risk, Compliance, Legal & Secretarial, Research, and Marketing. For the next two months, these units will operate remotely for two days each week. This flexible setup is scheduled for review at the end of the period, depending on external conditions and operational needs.
Neetika Bhatia, Chief Human Resource Officer at HDFC Securities, stated that the vision is to lead by example in redefining the future of work by building a resilient, innovative, and employee-centric culture that drives excellence. She emphasized that the hybrid model exemplifies an unwavering commitment to empowering employees, fostering agility, and delivering unparalleled service to clients.
Ms. Bhatia also noted that the Engineering, Customer Experience, and Digital Account Opening teams will continue to operate on a fully remote, location-agnostic basis. This approach allows the company to tap into a broader, more diverse talent pool across the country while providing maximum flexibility to its workforce.
Furthermore, HDFC Securities had already reinforced its commitment to work-life balance by announcing that all branches would observe a full Saturday off each week, effective April 1, 2026. This transition from the previous schedule of staying open on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays has been seamlessly integrated. Customer service remains unaffected, supported continuously by the digital platforms of HDFC Securities. These flexible work arrangements underscore the focus of the company on employee centricity, innovation, and exceptional client service.
