Godrej Unveils 2026 Smart AC Portfolio.. Targets 40% Growth Amid Rising Temperatures
Hyderabad: As the country braces for a rigorous summer, the Appliances Business of Godrej Enterprises Group has launched its upgraded, future-ready air conditioner portfolio for 2026. Positioning itself as one of India’s fastest-growing players in the segment, the brand is doubling down on intuitive, premium cooling solutions to meet evolving consumer demands.
The 2026 lineup features an extensive range of split, cassette, tower, and window ACs. With capacities ranging from 1 Ton to 4 Ton, the brand is placing a strategic emphasis on higher-tonnage models. The collection is available in both 5-star and 3-star energy ratings, with a significant focus on IoT-enabled Smart ACs.
Industry-First ‘Smart Sync’ Innovation
In a move to redefine the smart cooling category, Godrej has introduced Smart Sync Technology, a first-of-its-kind feature in the Indian market. This Wi-Fi-enabled innovation allows the AC to intelligently connect with and control a room fan. By auto-managing the fan’s operation in tandem with the cooling cycle, it ensures uninterrupted comfort, eliminating the need for users to manually adjust the fan during the night.
Beyond Smart Sync, the IoT-enabled range offers:
- Real-time Energy Monitoring: For transparent electricity usage tracking.
- Smart Maintenance: Filter-cleaning alerts and advanced smart diagnostics.
- Convenience Features: Pre-scheduled on/off settings via mobile connectivity.
Design Meets Performance
The 2026 portfolio also underscores a design-led philosophy. The new Eon Magnus series offers a variety of premium finishes, including gloss black, matte silver, champagne gold, elegant white, and a reflective mirror finish. This is complemented by the sleek grey Eon Nimbus and the monolithic Eon Regalis series, ensuring that the units blend seamlessly with modern home interiors.
Aggressive Growth Targets
Despite a challenging previous year for the broader AC industry, Godrej ACs reported significant growth. Kamal Nandi, Business Head – Appliances Business of Godrej Enterprises Group, stated:

Sabyasachi Gupta, Product Group Head – Air Conditioners, added that with heatwaves already appearing in March, the AI-powered range is built for “heavy-duty” performance. Features like Comfort Air Flow and 4-way swing ensure uniform cooling, while the brand’s “no-hidden-cost” warranty—covering gas refills and remote replacements—aims to provide long-term value.
To enhance accessibility, Godrej is offering subsidized installations on select models, affordable EMI schemes, and zero down payment options. The new range is now available across authorized retail stores and leading e-commerce platforms nationwide.
