Cotecna Expands Global Life Sciences Footprint with Acquisition of Hyderabad-Based Energon Labs

Global Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) provider Cotecna has acquired Energon Labs, a cGMP-compliant, USFDA-inspected, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 17025:2017 certified analytical testing laboratory based in Hyderabad, India. The acquisition accelerates Cotecna’s global Life Sciences strategy, scaling its specialized pharmaceutical testing services across the Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Packaging sectors. By establishing a direct operational footprint in Hyderabad a primary global biotechnology and pharmaceutical hub Cotecna gains direct access to specialized scientific talent and advanced laboratory infrastructure.

Service Integration and Global Network:
Energon Labs serves clients across India, the United States, the Asia-Pacific region, and the Middle East. The integration complements Cotecna’s existing pharmaceutical testing network, which includes Cotecna Life Sciences, Shiva Analyticals, and Neotron Pharma.
