Air India Launches Refreshed Global Menu Across International Routes
Hyderabad: Air India has unveiled a major upgrade to its inflight dining experience, introducing a diverse global menu curated by recently appointed Chef Sandeep Kalra. The new culinary program blends traditional Indian heritage, such as Awadhi and South Indian flavors, with international trends including Pan-Asian, European Bistro, and Korean dishes like Bibimbap.
The rollout has commenced on key international routes from Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru to destinations including London, New York, and Sydney, with plans for progressive expansion across the entire network.
Key Menu Highlights
First & Business Class: Gourmet offerings like Awadhi Paneer Anjeer Pasanda, Japanese Teppanyaki Bowls, and curated wine pairings.
Premium Economy & Economy: Upgraded trays featuring Malabari chicken curry and regional comfort foods.
Specialty Options: A dedicated range of vegan, gluten-free, and GenZ-focused choices like Matcha Delice.
Chief Customer Experience Officer Rajesh Dogra emphasized that the initiative focuses on innovation and sustainability. The airline is prioritizing locally sourced ingredients and eco-friendly packaging, including compostable utensils and paper meal boxes, to reduce its environmental footprint.
