'Myra' is a pan-Indian movie made in Telugu originally under the direction of Smile Srinu, who has made a special name for himself in Kannada under the banner of Padma Shri Features. Spiritual master and exponent Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Devanatha Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji has described the movie as relevant, suggesting that today's times need such a message-driven film.

"It seems that this film will be very useful for today's times when our way of living is antagonistic towards sustainable living and environment," Swamiji said, suggesting that Nature has been damaged by modern-day living.
