Six Foreign Universities to Offer Direct Access at Eruditus Open House Series in Hyderabad on April 25

Hyderabad:  The Eruditus IBC Open House Series 2026 has been announced, providing a unique opportunity for Indian students and parents to engage directly with representatives from prestigious global institutions. The series features six renowned universities, the University of Aberdeen, Illinois Institute of Technology, University of York, Victoria University, University of Liverpool, and University of Bristol.

The Hyderabad chapter is scheduled for April 25, 2026, at the Novotel Convention Centre from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This event serves as a comprehensive platform for students to explore diverse academic programs and receive personalized guidance on admissions and application pathways for the 2026-27 intake.

Direct Engagement and Expert Guidance:
The Open House series is designed to offer structured support through faculty-led interactions and program briefings. Students can attend admissions advisory sessions to discuss course selection, eligibility, and specific application pathways.

Furthermore, parents and counselors will have the opportunity to engage directly with university representatives through one-on-one discussions and interactive forums. This is complemented by expert-led breakout sessions, with each university hosting focused presentations on campus insights, program structures, and career outcomes.

National Tour and Participation:
The series is traveling across major educational hubs in India to ensure widespread access. Following successful stops in Mumbai (April 11), Bengaluru and Pune (April 12), Chandigarh (April 18), and Delhi (April 19), the tour concludes with the Hyderabad event at the Novotel Convention Centre on April 25.

Prospective attendees for the 2026-27 academic intake can register through the official portal: https://lnkd.in/gABySe2D.

The Impact of NEP 2020 and Internationalisation:
This initiative arrives at a pivotal moment for Indian higher education. Under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the UGC’s 2023 regulations, foreign universities are now enabled to establish a physical presence in India. This shift is expected to transform India into a global hub for academic talent and research collaboration.

Ashwin Damera, Co-Founder & CEO of Eruditus Group, highlighted the economic and strategic importance of this transition:

“For decades, India has been a net exporter of talent. With the IBC ecosystem taking shape, we have a window to reverse that flow. If scaled effectively, it could translate into an estimated $10-12 billion in annual foreign exchange savings, while reinforcing India’s long-term economic growth trajectory.”

By bringing global education closer to home, the Eruditus Open House Series acts as a direct bridge, ensuring that the next generation of Indian learners can access world-class resources while supporting national talent retention and institutional capacity building.
