Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s highly anticipated pan-India sports and action drama Peddi has been generating strong momentum with its initial promotional material. Both released songs turned into chartbusters, while the two glimpses showcased Ram Charan in strikingly contrasting avatars. The birthday special glimpse, in particular, received exceptional appreciation. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings presenting, the film has been steadily moving toward release.
However, the team has now officially confirmed that the film’s release is postponed. Peddi will arrive in theatres in June, as revealed through a formal note from the makers. After reviewing the film’s edit, they expressed immense satisfaction with the output but chose to allot extra time for post-production to ensure the film is presented with absolute perfection. This decision, they emphasized, is aimed at delivering a superior and polished theatrical experience.
Janhvi Kapoor plays the film’s female lead, supported by an impressive ensemble that includes Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in key roles.
The movie is backed by a stellar technical team as well- R Rathnavelu helms the cinematography, AR Rahman composes the music, Navin Nooli takes charge of editing, and Avinash Kolla elevates the film’s visual world with his meticulous production design.
