Maruti Suzuki Selects 6 Startups to Co-Create New-Age Technology-Based Business Solutions

New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced the selection of six innovative startups from the 10th Cohort of its flagship Accelerator Program. These startups—Goat Robotics, SheerDrive, Schijnenn Digital, GenbaNEXT, Swayatt Drishtigochar, and Swiftex—have been awarded paid Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to collaborate on AI-driven and technology-led business solutions. The partnership aims to modernize plant operations, streamline product development, and significantly elevate the overall customer experience.

Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, emphasized the strategic importance of these collaborations. He noted that the co-created solutions will improve plant safety, reduce design lead times, and strengthen material traceability to support the company’s circular economy goals. Furthermore, the technology will empower dealer sales executives to engage with customers more effectively.

“At Maruti Suzuki, we are committed to supporting the Government of India’s ‘Startup India’ initiative,” Mr. Takeuchi stated. “Our innovation programs provide startups with mentorship and access to real-world business environments, helping them scale while ensuring Maruti Suzuki remains future-ready.”

Innovative Startups and Their Project Areas:
The selected startups are focusing on diverse high-impact areas within the automotive value chain. Goat Robotics is working on the safe and efficient movement of materials, while SheerDrive has developed a real-time, market-linked used car price visualizer. To speed up the manufacturing process, Schijnenn Digital is providing solutions to shorten the product design and development cycle.

In terms of sustainability, GenbaNEXT is strengthening material traceability to aid in circularity efforts. Swayatt Drishtigochar is focusing on predictive maintenance and the safe operation of industrial equipment to ensure plant longevity. Finally, Swiftex has introduced a sales assistance platform designed to support dealer executives in engaging with customers more efficiently.

Through these partnerships, Maruti Suzuki continues to bridge the gap between traditional manufacturing and the fast-paced world of digital innovation, reinforcing its position as an industry leader in the Indian automotive market.
