Luxury As It Should Be Skoda Auto India Unveils Enriched Kodiaq 4×4 with ADAS and Enhanced Variants

Mumbai:  Following a record-breaking first quarter, Škoda Auto India has introduced a comprehensive update for its second-generation flagship, the Kodiaq. The 2026 range reinforces the philosophy of “Luxury, As It Should Be” by adding a layer of advanced safety technology and refining the distinct identities of its three variants: Lounge, Sportline, and Selection L&K.

Advanced Technology and Safety:
The headline update for 2026 is the introduction of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Now available on the Sportline and Selection L&K trims, this suite includes Level 2 features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist, Front Assist with autonomous braking, Side Assist (Blind Spot Detection), and Rear Traffic Alert. This makes the Kodiaq the only current Škoda model in India to offer these advanced safety capabilities.

A Kodiaq for Every Aspiration:
Kodiaq Lounge: Positioned as the accessible entry point, the Lounge variant is a five-seater that prioritizes value and utility, featuring a massive 786-litre boot. It offers premium comforts like a sliding panoramic sunroof, Grey Suedia upholstery, and three-zone Climatronic control.

Kodiaq Sportline: Embodying Škoda’s motorsport DNA, the Sportline now includes features previously exclusive to the top-tier L&K, such as a 360-degree Area View Camera, Intelligent Park Assist, and an illuminated front grille. It maintains its aggressive look with Glossy Black exterior elements and Black Suedia interiors.

Kodiaq Selection L&K: The pinnacle of the range features Cognac leather upholstery and front Ergo seats with pneumatic massage, ventilation, and heating. The cabin is highlighted by signature Laurin & Klement branding, blending all-terrain 4×4 capability with ultimate refinement.

Proven Performance:
Mechanically, the Kodiaq remains unchanged, powered by the reliable 2.0 TSI turbo-petrol engine delivering 150kW (204 PS) and 320Nm of torque. This power is managed by a seven-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission and sent to all four wheels via a standard AWD system.

Assembled at the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar facility, the updated Kodiaq starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹ 36,99,000, with the top-spec Selection L&K priced at ₹ 46,99,000.
