Amazon Bazaar Records 4X Growth in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as Demand Surges Across Fashion Home and Consumer Electronics

Hyderabad: Amazon.in today announced that Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have emerged as one of the fastest-growing regions for Amazon Bazaar. Orders across both States have increased 4X year-over-year, with Hyderabad leading the charge through a 4X increase in new customer sign-ups. In 2026 alone, Amazon Bazaar witnessed a remarkable 6X growth in Hyderabad within just the first four months of the year. Other top-performing cities in the region include Vijayawada, Guntur, Visakhapatnam, and Warangal.

With products starting as low as ₹99, free delivery, and convenient returns on over two crore products, Amazon Bazaar has become the primary destination for budget-conscious shoppers. The platform focuses on low-cost selection across fashion, home, kitchen, and electronic accessories, providing exceptional value to its growing user base.

Category Trends and Customer Preferences:
The States have seen a significant surge in demand across several key categories:

Top-selling items such as sarees, kurtis, fashion jewelry, home décor, utility kitchen items, and mobile covers highlight a customer base that prioritizes a blend of affordability and style.

Empowering Local Sellers and Businesses:
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are currently home to more than 75,000 sellers on Amazon.in, with over 1,200 specifically part of Amazon Bazaar. The platform saw a 2.4X YoY increase in sellers, which in turn expanded the available product selection by 2.5X. This growth allows local businesses to reach a nationwide audience through the Amazon Bazaar ecosystem.

Strengthening Logistics and Last-Mile Connectivity:
To ensure fast and reliable delivery, Amazon has fortified its operations network in the region. The infrastructure now includes 8 fulfillment centers, 3 sortation centers, and nearly 1,500 Hub Delivery Partners. This network ensures seamless connectivity even in the most remote smaller cities and towns across both States.

Looking ahead, Amazon Bazaar remains committed to deepening its presence in the region by onboarding more local sellers and expanding selection in regionally popular categories to ensure ultra-affordable products are accessible to every customer, regardless of their location.
