Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA) is a 35 year old non-profit 501c (3) organization which represents the Indian Telugu community in Atlanta. We conduct many community events including cultural, community outreach, assisting community members in times of need and many more. We run a school for children which teach them Telugu. Most of the children who learn this do benefit from learning at least two languages, English at school and Telugu here. We also run a free clinic for any needy member who requires medical assistance. Our membership consists of a diversified group which includes Doctors, Engineers, Information Technology consultants as well as Entrepreneurs who run restaurants, gas stations as well as convenience stores.
